How To Apply

  • Visit the page of the program or study you're interested in

  • Complete the online application linked from that page

  • Graduate students, be prepared to

    • submit your transcripts (minimum 3.0 GPA)

    • submit proof of an unencumbered RN licensure (uploaded to your application)

    • interview (for selected graduate nursing programs)

National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)

Loyola University New Orleans is a participating member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), an organization that regulates and oversees distance education. This membership allows Loyola University New Orleans to accept distant students from most states across the United States. Please visit the NC-SARA website for a list of current SARA member states. Please note that students who relocate while enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans may experience a delay in registration eligibility or potentially be unable to complete their studies if they are moving to a country or state where Loyola University New Orleans is not currently authorized to offer an online option for a particular program.

Accepted Students will be Required to Provide:

  • Within thirty days of enrollment, students are required to apply for a certified background review and drug screen, at their own expense, by a provider designated by Loyola University New Orleans with the results reported to Loyola University New Orleans School of Nursing.

  • Documentation of physical examination by a licensed provider

  • Documentation of immunizations

  • Current CPR certification
